Meet the Committee

The executive committee is composed of eleven members elected by the assembly of members. The committee’s mission is to structure the organization, undertake sustainable projects proposed by the assembly, and organize a new election at the end of the year.

Wilber Estiverne
Coordinator
Mr. Estiverne, widely known as West, is a senior industrial engineering technician with extensive experience in project management and technical operations. He has a strong commitment to civic engagement and public service. As a community organizer, West has led numerous initiatives aimed at improving infrastructure, promoting local development, and empowering residents in Gonaïves, reflecting his dedication to the growth and well-being of his city.

Rev. Guival Mercedat
Vice-Coordinator

With over 24 years of experience as an energy engineer, Guival has served as Senior Pastor of his church for nearly 22 years. A passionate advocate for Gonaïves, Haiti, he has been actively involved since his youth in initiatives aimed at restoring and uplifting the city’s image.

Wendy Ledix
General Secretary

Doctoral candidate in Preventive Medicine at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of São Paulo. Accredited as a university professor and researcher in the fields of migration, labor, and health.
He clings to his conscience, to knowledge, and to science. Wendy lives to be useful.

Radlif Itoo Jean
Ass. Secretary

Radlif Itoo Jean was born and raised in Gonaives. He is passionate about his birth city. Radlif would dream of seeing Gonaives back to the way he was when he was a child: a beautiful, peaceful, and clean city everyone else would like to visit.

Ronald Pierre
Treasurer

Mr. Ronald Pierre holds a degree in Industrial Engineering and a Master’s in Finance. Mr. Pierre is currently a soldier serving in the United States Army.

Marie Etienne
Ass. Treasurer

Marie Etienne is a passionate advocate for the future of Gonaives. With a Master’s degree in Public Administration, she brings expertise and dedication to her role. Committed to implementing policies for sustainable development, she catalyzes positive change, empowering the community and shaping a brighter future for the city.

Marc Andre Jean
Public Rel/Spokesperson

M. Jean is a 20-year veteran digital media broadcast journalist passionate about social and problem-solving stories. He is also a trained registered nurse and respiratory therapist. Mr. Jean is a founding member of AGOM and currently serves as AGOM’s webmaster.

Anderson Despinasse
Advisor

Anderson “Papayo” Despinasse is a passionate entrepreneur and a founding member of AGOM, where he also serves as an advisor. Deeply committed to driving positive change in Gonaïves, he has remained active in supporting his community while living in the diaspora.

Steev Jean-Charles
Advisor

Steeve Jean-Charles is an engineer based in Montreal, originally from Gonaïves, Haiti. With a strong passion for community engagement, he has been an active member of AGOM for many years, supporting initiatives that celebrate and uplift the Gonaïves community.

Reynald Orival is the founder of Radio-Télé Provinciale (95.3 FM, Channel 9 VHF), a leading media platform in Gonaïves dedicated to informing and connecting the community. Reynald serves as an advisor and active member of AGOM, contributing his experience and commitment to driving positive change for Gonaïves and its diaspora.

Guy Sarazin

Guy Sarazin is a serial entrepreneur. As an advisor to the Alliance Gonaïvienne d’Outre-Mer (AGOM), he contributes his expertise to support projects that foster education, sustainable development, and community growth. Guy is deeply committed to the well-being of his community, combining his entrepreneurial spirit with a passion for creating positive local impact.
