Meet the Commitee

The executive committee is composed of eleven members elected by the assembly of members. The mission of the committee is to structure the organization, to undertake sustainable projects proposed by the assembly, and to organize a new election at the end of the year.

Rodney Mérard
General Coordinator

Rodney Mérard is an international project manager working in the not-for-profit sector. He is also a real estate consultant passionate about his country. Mr. Mérard constantly fights to change the social and economic conditions of Gonaïves by bringing jobs and opportunities to the city and the neighborhood.

Radlif Itoo Jean
Deputy Coordinator

Radlif Itoo Jean was born and raised in Gonaives. He is passionate about his birth city. Radlif would dream is to see Gonaives back to the way it was when he was a child: a beautiful, peaceful, and clean city that everyone else would like to visit.

Rev. Guival Mercedat
Secretary

Pastor Mercedat has been an energy engineer for over 24 years and a Sr. Pastor of a church for almost 22 years. He is a mad lover of the city of Gonaives, Haiti. He actively participated from a young age in various activities to restore the image of the city of Gonaives. He wants to work alongside fellow Gonaivians to help overcome the challenges of their dear City of Independence.

Wendy Ledix
Deputy Secretary

Doctoral candidate in Preventive Medicine at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of São Paulo. Accredited as a university professor and researcher in the fields of migration, labor, and health.
He clings to his conscience, to knowledge, and to science. Wendy lives to be useful.

Ronald Pierre
Treasurer

Mr. Ronald Pierre holds a degree in Industrial Engineering and has a Master’s degree in Finance. Mr. Pierre is currently a soldier serving in the United States Army.

Marie Etienne
Deputy Treasurer

Marie Etienne is a passionate advocate for the future of Gonaives. With a Master’s degree in Public Administration, she brings expertise and dedication to her role. Committed to implementing policies for sustainable development, she catalyzes positive change, empowering the community and shaping a brighter future for the city.

Charles-Hubert Zamor
Spoke-person

Mr. Zamor is a former journalist, philanthrope, and active-duty Captain in the US Army. He holds a double master’s degree in criminal justice and public administration.

Marc Andre Jean
Advisor

M. Jean is a 20-year veteran digital media broadcast journalist who is passionate about social and problem-solving stories. He is also a trained registered nurse and respiratory therapist. Mr. Jean is a founding member of AGOM and currently serves as AGOM’s webmaster.

Emmanuella Pierre-Charles, Ph. D.
Advisor

Emmanuella Pierre-Charles holds a Doctorate in Nursing and works as a Nurse Practitioner. Alongside her clinical practice, she also teaches at a university. Her dedication to both healthcare and education reflects her commitment to enhancing the well-being of communities, aligning seamlessly with AGOM’s mission.

Alcénat Honorat Cival
Advisor

Alcenat Honorat Cival, a Project Engineering Manager, brings a wealth of experience from roles at various well-known companies. Alcenat joined the executive committee to share his expertise after serving on the project committee, demonstrating his commitment to driving results and making a lasting impact within AGOM.

Jethro Denis
Advisor

Jethro Denis, a seasoned lawyer and advisor at AGOM, brings a wealth of experience to the table. Having previously served on the project committee, he possesses invaluable insights into effective governance and project implementation strategies.
